    Hi everyone,

New member here. I have an sfx-100 system and it's been running well for about a year. Last week, out of nowhere (no recent hardware or software changes), one of the actuators freezes up and the AASD servo throws up fluctuating error numbers (goes from -119 to -104).

Has anyone every experienced this? Do you have any suggestions?

I appreciate your time and help.

    -Minh

I think you are seeing the encoder position

Check all your wires and connections are ok

Cam you swap the drivers over and see if the problem goes with it

    Hi there,
Thanks for your reply. Per your suggestion, I tried swapping driver cables (from servo to @Thanos) but had the same problem. Interestingly, when I removed the encoder cable from another servo that wasn't having any issues, the problematic servo had the value -133 instead of -119.

These aren't alarm values, these are calibration values right? Is this a calibration issue?

To reset the servo, I did this:
    FN004
    Hold SET ---> Pni n
Hold SET again --> go --> DONE
    Unplugged power
    Plugged back in

Is this the right reset procedure for AASD servos?

All the cables are connected normally. As it's giving me -119, it sounds like the motor continues to spin/whirl.

I'm pretty stumped. This isn't a thanos controller issue right?

    Thanks for your help
