    Here is a preview of something that I have been working on. It is a 3D printable Sim Clutch. It very closely replicates the feeling of the engagement point of a real clutch. It is designed with interchangeable tracks and springs to adjust the bite point location, compression tension as well as the kick back pressure. The end goal is to make this Sim Clutch a universal Mod that will work with many different Sim Rigs and pedal setups. V2 blue.PNG

    yes the wedge has a contour that builds pressure as you push it in and then the pressure breaks as the contour get flatter . This create a pretty convincing bite point in the pedal. Then you adjust the bite point in the game to match it . In turn the motion sim reacts to the physics of the car . you you get feed back from the sim at the same time you feel the bite point in the pedal . much like a real car .

    I like what you have done - I printed a 3d clutch only last week !

    the one I printed uses an offet pivot point that moves as the pedal compresses - this looks much easier to tune for a realistic feel

    you should offer a metal bling one for sale that appeals to the guys who wear rolex watches !

    This is the one I printed.



    Its a big improvement over a stock logitech clutch.

    Its not as good as a real car, I think yours will have a more positive feel.

    Hands done anything is better than a lifeless spring. When i was looking at how that version worked , i thought it would lack the follow through travel after the bite point . i envisioned it being more like and on off switch.

    But thanks for the feedback feel free to jjion the discord and give it a try . it does cost about $50-60 usd to build . shoppiong list and stl files can be found on the discord channel.

    To the realistic logitech clutch. just found this and noticed that the printable doesn't have any schematic to it. i guess the biggest question , with the pressure used is what is the infill used? for sturdiness .
    i would guess close to 100 percent ? time to dust off the 3D printer. Thanks

    just finished printing this out myself and like the last comment , it does need a little cleanup but should work great.

    oh and by the way. the video shows that WD40 is used as a lubricate but i would sugest something a bit more suitable. white lithium grease for 3D prints?

    Okay there we go. it doesn't work for inverted pedals with tight confines. i will shave it down a bit more and lets see what happens. i am determined.
