Hey all!Yestarday when i start my simulator motors rotates round and round, then motor1 stops, and little later fuse burns :thbd: then i replaced fuse.and start again. Now rotating stops but only motor2 works normaly,motor1 doesn't move any more and again fuse burns and 1.IRF4905 was extreme hot.I taked IRF4905 out then works okay but no voltage to motor1. Measured board and found(drawing 2.burned 1N5818 and 3.Zener 15volt 1/4 watt.)can IRF4905 overheat and no voltage to motor line1, because these two are broken? Can i replace Zener 15volt 1/4 watt with ZPD15?because can't find Zener 15volt 1/4.Have tested both motors and both works okay :) Thanks allready for to answers

There is a short somewhere probably. Check your soldering and diode polarity. Also if you post some pictures it will be a lot easier to find your problem.

That is why I said something is shorted out. Replace your diodes and check your soldering. I don't have the circuit built, just giving you suggestions.

hmm,Tommy had an overheating prob on your h-bridge due to a cold solder joint already.
    post15326.html#p15326
Perhaps it is a cold solder joint this time as well.

However, I noticed that both motors are mounted directly to the metal frame.
In this case, the motors ground has to be isolated from the motor casing to prevent shortcut.
Most wipermotors are connected to ground via the metal casing.
Check if your motors casings are isolated from motor wires (disconnect simulaotr from power and try to measure shortcut between wires and motor mount screws with a multimeter)

And add some cooling stripes to the transistors ;D

    Regards

Ego is right, check your soldering and use a multimeter to troubleshoot. Also post pictures of what you have, it might help to see your problem better.

Afai understood, he bought his simulator from Tommy. So it should be Tommy's assembly I've linked above.
