    Here in Germany B-type breakers (240V/16A) are most common and I got those as well.
    I think you're right, it seems that the slower C-type would be much better suited to tolerate those few 1/10ths of a second of overcurrent.

    Hi Thanos, why do we set the pulse ratio (electronic gear ratio) Pn098 to 20?

    This means one revolution is split up to 500 pulses on the dir input. So 500 pulses = 1 rotation.
    You end up with 0.72° resolution, which translates to 0.01 mm minimum distance on a 5 mm spindle, or 0.02mm on a 10 mm spindle and so on...

    Formula is:
    PN102 PN98 = Steps you want / CPR * 4

    CPR is for the China servos 2500:

    500 / 2500 * 4 = 0,05 = 1 / 20 (as fraction)

    PN102 = 1
    PN98 = 20

    I kept this setting from SFX100, as I wanted to have plug and play with existing systems. But this also helps to allow more pulses for longer stroke actuators, and with proper gearing it can do up to 2450mm stroke actuators or 160:1 ratio on rotary actuators...

    HI Thanos, thanks for the info on the electronic gear ratio.
    I'm not sure if you have already done a full manual Thanos, but I cant find one. I have read all pages in this thread on Xsim and watched many of your videos, but I would much prefer / like an organised and informative written reference to use if its available.

    Yes, thanks.
    Its colourful, but not what I would call 'complete' or 'reference' though :)

    It's a user's manual, doesn't need detailed description of what's going on under the hood.

    Its like a car manual, they don't show the fuel injection timing charts, or how the CPU talks to the peripherals and radio...

    Anyway if you need more info, like for custom motion software programming, there is material available if you ask for it.

    Are size variations possible?

    Well, I found the one I used on the video on Amazon
    It was the most inexpensive I could find that has individual control circuit per color.

    Another one I found, is this one, but decided against it as it seems its only battery operated and the LEDs are not so bright...

    There are some other ones, bigger, but perhaps too expensive and don't know if they are same easy to hack. Like this industrial quality one :)

    Thanks

    Hello Thanos is it possible to use Simtools with thanus4u. What are the limitations? I would like to use some games that are not supported by SRS.

    thanks for your reply!

    Its working with Simtools now... I had to fix a bug.

    The latest firmware fixed it.

    It just doesn't have full integration to configure the Thanos4U from Simtools, like SRS does. I'm trying to get a remote configuration utility done for the Thanos4U so people can configure it without have to use SRS...

    Thanks
