Now, I run into some setting issue...Hope someone can guide me here....I can't get my 3 rd motor to move (traction loss). It is fine in SMC utility. All motors works but just not in Simtool. I assigned DOF 6 using Extra1 (for traction loss). Doesn't seem to work.
    here are my setting below:

Do you have any screen shot what Axis 3 should look like?

Were does Axis 3 sit in your rig? If traction loss then add Extra 1 to Axis 3a and remove it from the others.

Extra1 should be assigned to Axis3a for traction loss with corresponding Interface Settings for the 3rd axis.

Can someone guide me to setting max and min for my motor. I still find my motor will stop functioning when it travelled over the limit and I have to restart my simtool again to return it to normal position.

Put here the data you have for those engines, it is important that they have good nutrition. In order not to exceed the limits, you can limit the travel of the axes in simtools, I have it like this, to 25%, although the tests in smc are something else and I always get exceeded then playing is perfect.

In the axis assignments section you have axis, limiting, because there you put the limits first, low to 25 and then you go up until it does not exceed, a greeting

Another thing, for those engines I have it in max limits at 10 and imput clip at 50, I don't know if it will work for you but it works well for me that way.

The range is set in SMC3:

Clip Input Used to create a band at either limit of the target range beyond which any values sent to the SMC3 are clipped. In addition to this clipping, if the motor feedback does move beyond this range (typically through inertia), the SMC3 will attempt to brake the motors hard by driving them in reverse until they are back out of this limit zone. The value can be anything from 0-255 (however can’t be less than the current limit setting). Reverse braking is applied in the band between the Clip Input and the Max Limit settings. Reverse braking can be disabled - refer to PWMrev.

Max Limits Used to create a band at either limit of the feedback range beyond which if the motors move (typically through inertia) the SMC3 will automatically shutdown the drivers and keep them disabled until reset. This is essentially a safety mechanism if something goes wrong. The value can be between 0-255 (however can’t be greater than the current clip setting).

Your Axis Assignment allocations percentage totals are way too high at well over 200%: https://www.xsimulator.net/community/faq/axis-assignment-percentage-totals.120/
