Updated the rig to an Ali frame - huge improvement in rigidity. Also repositioned the motors for more mechanical advantage and the overall movement is much improved. Also swapped out the ibt2's for a sabertooth 2x32.

Slight design change with mods to wind sim due to DD upgrade (after running a G27 for about 6 years).

    Very good choice
I also have the same Fanatec set up
If you can find a used V3 crankset you'll be on top
Is your ventilation system really good? I hesitate to make one

Pedal upgrade is on the cards. I have the truebrake mod fitted to these G27 pedals which I really like, so in no hurry. Wind sim is hands down one of the best immersion boosters, especially in vr, and it's cheap to do, about £25

When it was a wooden rig I used long m10 coach screws, but I still had some play like you are showing

Thank you for your information. I consider to make the base in Aluminium or steal.

May you can share screenshots of your axis settings in simtools? And which game you play in your video? F1 from codemasters or assetto Corsa with F1 hybrid mod? I Racing or something else? I really like the acceleration and break motions of your rig. And looking forward to achieve this motion to, so pleas share your settings. Thx
