    Here are some specs:

    • X-Sim version: 2.1.0.12
    • Sim hardware: SCN5 Motion Simulator

      - Acceleration: 400
    • Synaptrix settings: NO
    • Used plugins:
      - SCN5
      - Bass Shaker
    • 25% Limiter: NO

    Looks fun.

Are you using the boxed version or the Steam version? I haven't had any luck getting the Steam version working yet.

Awesome Profile! I drive it with Speed 4200 an Acc 380...for me that´s more than enough.
THX to Chris and Nima for this very good work.

I have a simulator with gear box motors, SCN5 profiles are not correct for me.
I use the same settings for testing, I just use values , it is difficult to understand without trying some adjustment.

there is much difference between the 2 profiles on the first and this one.

    methods are also different

how you choose those values? you based on the values of auto-adjust?
and how do you test for the values you choose?
I personally test each effect individually

can you explain how you do it to put all these effects?
    and why the filter?
this could help me understand and make good profiles

I take each effect, I record the auto values , then I must reduce the value to 5 digits to the max and 4 digits for the minimum
for example effect 27, the maximum auto value : 1572323, I took 157232

minimum value for the car: 15723 I took effect in 1572 and are good
for the filter is difficult to understand the result, and the sensations obtained

i have no setting same you for my motor, i just use the velleman card and dynamic speed
    •SCN5 Interface Settings:
    - Speed: 22.500
    - Acceleration: 400

my problem: the values of effect does not give a sufficient sensation of speed for my simulator
    I must reduce the values
    there another way?
    thank you

    Hi riton,

unfortunately I don't know the behaviour of a motor powered sim like the one you have, so I also don't know how to set up the values :? !

Basically you have to take every value separately and drive it with auto max and auto min, to get the maximum and minimum values.
Then you save the value and go on with the next one.
After that you know every value and can start mixing it up resp. building a new profile. Remember that one value can affect another value, e.g. the drift value changes the behaviour of the former set left/right value. There are many things which have to be considered.

I think the best way is to start over with a new profile. Start with the values 25 and 27 and then try to add the other values step by step. If there are any questions left, let me know ! I try to help you out - and I think that Nima will also give you as much hints as he can give - he has imho the biggest knowhow in building proper profiles here.

    thank you
without your advice, it is difficult to be on the correct method to make a profile
until now I do as you said

but it is precisely the combination of the effects more difficult, and correction, better effect then when all the effects are mixed

@riton: You're absolutely right, the combination of all effects has also to be considered. Start with testing each effect separately, so you better know which value causes this or that effect. After that you can play with the values - try different settings and look what happens. When you have a profile with many values, like the one that Nima and I have created, it will become very difficult to see what you have to change if e.g. the acceleration in curves isn't enough or if there is too much rumble while driving over gravel road... Try to stay with our order of the values, otherwise one value will affect another value and you won't know, which value has to be corrected...

It's not that easy (I'm at the very beginning of creating profiles too !), but it's great to create your own profile ! I like our Dirt2 profile very much ;D !

    Hi Chris,

I am trying to use your profile for Dirt 2, but had no luck. Could you please tell me which game plug-in shall I choose in the Force Sender? Another thing is that I do not have a bass shaker, so when I load the profile, I got a pop up message from the Profiler, how can I deal with it? I have made of course all the necessary changes in the hardware-config.xml file of the game.

    Many thanks.

    hi john,
in the sender you mast have dirt2.if you dont see the dirt2 plugin you mast have a newer x-sim version.in the pop up messarge go to quit program than by fatal error
on no and than ok.again for the bass value.than you have no output on soundcard.
now go in the mathsektion and delite both bass axis and save it.

    Hi Nima,

Lucky to found you online. If I understood your reply well, the plugin is not needed? If it does where can I get it?

    Many thanks,

    Hi John,

I believe that you have the Commander and the SX-3000, so you will not need to worry about the config settings. THis is done automatically by the Commander.

However, I think that this plugin is a work in progress? and is not officially released or fully tested yet.
