If you have 2 different programs trying to access the same game telemetry data at the same time that can be a problem.

In some cases data can be port forwarded (SimHub) has this option, but it won't help if the other program expects data on a specific port.

There is a work around for Codemaster games.

The easiest way to avoid possible conflicts is to have the same program controlling motion also control bass shakers, both SimTools and FlyPT are capable of supporting both motion and bass shakers.

Hey Manes, depending on what you mean by body shakers, there may be another solution but there may be drawbacks. If you mean bass shakers like a Buttkicker or similar, you can just run it/them by piggybacking on the computer audio output. Those kinds of shakers generally use a subwoofer amplifier to drive them and those are quite happy with audio inputs.

The drawbacks are if you do voice comms with others it can be more complicated to keep those sounds out of the shakers. Same thing if you listen to music or other audio sources during play. SimVibe is all about better control of vibrations but just using audio works fine too if you can keep non-sim sounds out of the audio you use for vibrations and shakes or don’t mind them.
