Congratulations. I have noticed the motors really do heat up quickly. They since added a fan cooling package but on driving games where the motion is very active it can only last 15 minutes or so before it throttles the power to the motors which means it barely moves. Have you been able to overcome this?

Can someone that has tweaked their yaw and sim tool setting successfully to get the most realistic/ fun sim movements out of DCS World and Yaw 1 share with me those settings. Not that it matters but I am using the Quest 2 vr headset and Thrustmasters Warhog Hotas and pedals. I will only be grateful to you for the favor and will not complain at all. Thank you.

I picked up a Yaw VR 1 seat. It looked like a good solution for a simulation seat. I had it for a short period of time and parts of it started breaking. After about 3 years after multiple failures I was left with a product that does not work. Now if this was a low cost product I'd say c'est la vie - but it was not. I spent over 3500 (CAD) for the seat - which included an high import tax and shipping (which actually was the same cost as the seat. After spending that kind of money I would have thought the product to be more robust. It was not. I probably should have done more investigation and been more critical purchasing a product from a new company with no real reputation, which is very important for a product in a very specialized domain. I certainly would not recommend their products based on the experience I had had with the seat (and customer support) from this company.

@Dani , does the Force Feedsback of the Logitech G940Hotas work, and in which games, and what settings? I have one as well, but haven't really found proper working Sims for the FFB. Does Elite work with the FFB?
I have a Yaw 1 also, still figuring it out, any help is apprecitated (Settings e.g. for the G940 or Dirt Rally 2 and so on). Thanks!

I have a 3DoF VR Motion Simulator 1 and lost the Simulator Key as image attached to turn "ON".
Is it possible to switch on the simulator without key or can you send one if you have?
Can you please send me some purchasing links such that i can buy it and i am willing to pay for it as well.Because i need the keys for a project in urgent need,
Please help me to solve the problem and waiting for your kind reply.

Probably the best thing is to take the cover off and bypass the key internally. Should be easy to do. You can then install a switch instead. Ask someone with a bit of technical knowledge, if you don't know how. Can be done in 30 minutes probably. Or, to get a key, contact the people from Yaw VR, they will be the only ones that can get you a key

I agree, it looks to be a 2 position isolator switch, so being 12v should be easy to replace with the likes of a toggle switch, just ask at the local electronic store.

Yes. I will actually do this also when I open the shell up next time, as the key is annoying and keeps falling out. If there are no kids around or not being in a public place, there is no need for the key really for personal use.

Alternatively you should be able to get a 2 position proper key switch, that would not fall out, but I agree simplicity is the way to go, have you considered replacing it with traditional kill switch?

    I thought it was 24v.

It may be 24v, but a suitably rated traditional kill or toggle switch should do as a replacement.

That would work also, but I have enough switches lying around to just use one of those. A kill switch could also be a very good idea. But if the dish goes crazy and keeps spinning with you in it, I am not sure if it would be much easier to reach a kill switch versus a normal one in the same spot
