It seems very likely that this is due to your equipment being disconnected, causing Game Engine to crash.
Check the USB cable, that you do not have too many equipment on the same USB port, and especially see if in motion you do not have one side of the USB cable that could disconnect.

You could also try slowing down your output rate to the interface and see if it helps.
If your at 1ms, set it to 10ms and see what happens.
    Take care,

I had the same problem too:
    - Use a dedicated port on your PC, not via a HUB.
    - Use a good quality USB cable
    - Ensure there is as little EMF as possible getting into the cable.

A good quality USB cable will be nice and thick and have plenty of shielding so the last two go hand in hand.

After some time again hi everyone...
I read somewhere that a brand new version of SimTools 3.0 is in the air ;) and that some testers are already trying it. I wanted to know more about this very interesting topic if possible.

Being so new I wonder if the problem relates to Win 11, perhaps @yobuddy can advise.

Looks like a Win 11 bug @yobuddy may need to look into then.

    It's true :thumbs

    Not yet, but soon...

As soon as we are ready for an alpha test, we will create a proper thread for SimTools v3.
In short thou, SimTools v3 is a complete rewrite from top to bottom for speed and ease of use.
It aims to combine GameEngine, GameManager, GameDash, GameVibe, PluginInstaller, CompanyTools and a built in plugin distribution system.
It will also have live updates for SimTools, and all of the plugins.

And the repository system has the ability to display all info for any plugin automatically. (more on this later)
Speaking of plugins, there is now GamePlugins, InterfacePlugins, AxisPlugins, VirtualPlugins, Addons, Skins and Setups.
Anyway, I'll go more into detail when I make the official v3 post.
    yobuddy
btw, SimTools v3 will be a free upgrade for all v2 users. (Thanks for your support guys! :cheers)
(In fact, you will be able to use v2 and v3 side by side, but not at the same time of course)

I am currently working on the 'how-to v3 game api' side of things so we can get started....

Please note that in the beginning of the alpha test at least, the release will only be available to:
    - People who have written a plugin in the past. (I could use some feedback on the new game api)
    - People who will be playing with the plugin distribution system. (I need to make sure the repo system is solid)
    - A few long time people who are willing to stumble thru the new version. (As there is no manual yet)

At this point, I mainly need to test for any obvious bugs I missed, make sure the game api is where we want it and fully test the new repo system.

Here is a little preview of just some of what the new repo system can do. (some pic's shown may be old)
I can log into my SimTools account and upload plugins to repo.
    upload_2022-2-15_16-35-52.png

The system will automatically make Informational Data-Pages for the plugins uploaded to the system.
And make them available to be downloaded for offline installation into SimTools v3.
(The update and delete button is only there if you own the file)
    upload_2022-2-15_16-38-54.png

And then you can browse and download them thru the online repo.
    upload_2022-2-15_16-40-5.png

Or, download and install them directly thru SimTools v3...
    upload_2022-2-15_16-41-33.png

And SimTools v3 can even tell you of any updates available for your plugins should one get updated.
Well that's all for now, I need to get back to it! :thumbs
    Take care,
    yobuddy

    Hello, very good news !
Do you also plan to use only one software to drive all our equipment (Motion platform, dashboard, vibe) ?
