WOW! That is really impressive Nima!
    Very well done!

Sometimes, when I see these 3 heads w/ projectors I miss my old configuration... LOL

    Cheers,

    Quick question...

How are you doing your profiles?
Emphasis on pitch and roll for the front actuators and Gs for the rear ones?

    Cheers,

    MY

    Absolut  Genial.

    Hi Niels.

This looks to have promise. I like the idea of moviing the wheel and pedals if your are going to try for extreme seat movements. I can't exactly tell the configuration from the video though. Perhaps we could see some pictures?

Also, toward the end of the viedo on the extreme movements, it seemed as if the actuators were struggling and as a result were moving at very slow speeds. The other 90% of the movements seemed very fluid and accurate. Maybe when you get your additional rubber bands, the extreme movements will be able to respond quickly as well.

    Nice work!

    Very nice Niels,

The movements look very extreme (surprised that you can drive with that much movement :)). I can also hear the actuators in the rear struggling on the extreme lateral movements and sound like they bottom out a few times so I'b be careful until you get more rubber bands :).

    Thanks for the video.

    .....Mike

    Good job, Niels

But, though the construction is impressive, I wouldnt like that much movement (at least if the screen does not move with the seat).
I'd rather use the front actuators just for vehicle pitch and roll, and the back actuators just for long/lat g-forces.
Well, matter of taste at the end.

    regards

Btw, the name Nimasix 6DOF is a bit confusing, for a 4 axis simulator ;-)

    hi egoexpress
in the beginning with the new sim i have test with only pitch and roll on the front
but the feeling is better if you mixed all a littel.the name is correct i have 2 axis
more i must have only 2 scns more than i have 1 axis for drift and 1 axis for move
    the sim for and behind.

    Hi Niels,

yeah - hell of a machine  !
There are so many different and HEAVY movements - is it still possible to feel ACCURATE movements ? Partially it looks like the whole sim is shaking and rumbling, but no single movement resp. effect is recognizable. TO ME it's a little bit difficult to evaluate if it's realistic enough or if it's a collection of really heavy movements. I'd like to test it by myself, hehehe
Do you plan to use H-belts ? Seems that you are working hard on staying in your sim sometimes :D !

But once again: Big respect - you created a mean machine !!!

One question regarding the projectors: Are you using back-projection ? I haven't seen the shadow of your head in the left and right picture... Which distance from projector lens and screen do you have then ?

I got a kick out of your version of Laguna Seca...transposed left-to-right. I was scratching my head for awhile trying to recognize it. Then after getting it, I saw that the Motec rpm scale was backwards also. I would say it were fair enough if it were from Down Under. ;-)
