    Hi,

In the documentation of the video plugin is written: ... have to load the Video plugin .rn2 simulator profile in the profiler2. ....
Does someone know where it is? Or can you post it here?

    Regards, Lucas

I am not aware of such a file.

Usually rn2 files are custom files, that depend on individual hardware config and personal preferrences, and vary between individual games or individual vehicles.

Tell us about your hardware setup (actuators, controllers, actuator configuration), and we will be able to help you create a rn2 file.

    regards

Thanks for the offer of helping me.
First of all let me tell you something about this project. I'm building a submarine simulator for a museum on a small Island (Texel), thats were I also live. The simulator exists of a tube in which two chairs are mounted. On either side is a window (monitor). When the ride starts a animation of the sea shows behind the windows. The light are dimmed and you enter the underwater world. You see all sorts of fish and stuff and a shipwreck. But due to a steering error the submarine hits the wreck and the submarine needs to go up. So much for the story.
The animation is nearly ready and the motiondata is also ready. The idea is to use the video plugin. I have lateral, longitudinal and vertical accelleration data as well as the pitch, roll and yaw data of every frame (25 fps).
The data can be imported in de video editor.
Now the chairs I use are made like the ones of Mr Burns, with a left and a right actuator (SCN6).
In the profiler, the inputs are:
    25:lateral, 26:vertical, 27:longitudinal, 28:pitch, 29:yaw, 30:roll
But what do I have to set in the math section to translate the inputs to the outputs.

Thanks in advance, I hope you can give me an advice.

Interesting project. Would be great if you'd post some pics, info and as well a video of it when operating, in our DIY sim section soon.

    Regarding the math:
-To jumpstart your project use 1:1 effects in the math window only.
-You have to create each effect for both axis (left actuator, right acutator).
-Effects 25 and 30 require one axis inverted, while the other one remains uninverted
-Effects 26,27 and 28 require both axis to be set either inverted or not
-The values to be entered in the min max fields have to be equal to the min and max values of your input values. Either enter the min max values manually, or use the default option automatic maximum adjustment. Uncheck the box after min max values are determined for each effect.

Dont forget to save your profile (which is a rn2 file then)!
