    Hello guys

me and some friends who is so passionate about DCS and flightsims in general will be building our first VR motion sim mainly for DCS , we are down to these three concepts
Which do u think will give the most precise and high resolution feedback ,all in VR using reverb G2

    My Motion Simulator:
    6DOF
    Hi!
As I have built a 6DOF with linear actuators the last years, I have some own experience (VR) and can give you my opinion to your question. All what I am saying in the following lines is only my personal and todays opinion with my limited experience. I dont want to say that any rig isnt worth building or will not give you a lot of fun!

A short story for better understanding:
After my rig was "ready", I used it only for racing games. I found that ultra fast actuator-response is very important to feel all the street- details. When driving fast formular cars, I found huge and fast sway gives a great feeling. Also surge is important in racing games. What I didnt need was large heave or large pitch-angles!! For me it didnt feel realistic!

Since half a year or so, I prefere flight simulation, especially with MSFS20.... And now, lot of things changed to my suprise. I found, that the speed of the actuators of aprox. 350mm/s (that was great for sim racing) is too low for high end flight simulation. Feeling the air gets better with higher speed and larger strokes in heave. Also fast rolls need high speed. So now I optimize my rig for 500mm/s speed. This is the speed I would go for.
Axis that are in my opinion not mandatory for flight sims are surge and sway.
Little (!) Yaw is nice to have. Huge Pitch is also extreme important in flight sim!
And now the most important point in my opinion for flight sims is low noise!!!

Ok..... and now my thoughts to the videos you posted
720degree- video: great pitch, but no heave!!! I would miss it!!
DOF reality: nice, but I would prefere more stroke length and angles.
Motion-sim: good heave, angles and speed. But I cant say anything about noise.

So my personal ranking for flight sim only:
1st rank: a fast and silent 6DOF from Insectatech
2nd rank: a good 6DOF rotary plattform like the knaufinator. This type of sim seems to be more silent most times.
3rd rank: A sim like the one from motion sim - if it is silent.
I hope this helps a little. And I am excited what other members say.

Noted and thanks for ur time thats definitely the asmwer i was looking for

do u think we need motion cancellation for the reverb G2 ( ie inside out tracking headset?)
