These days all MMs are clones, as they are no longer made by the OEM, so unfortunately there are a lot of quality control issues :(

I started out with the mm, but quickly realized it wasnt worth the perceived savings with all the trouble and faulty ones you end up with and just switched to sabertooth and havent had a single issue since.

i finally have my rig moving! :)

Just have a couple of queries with regards to simtools setup. I am setup as per below:

    upload_2021-3-31_22-39-55.png

    roll,pitch,surge.png sway,heave.png

    Output Testing results:
Roll +100% - Rig Tilts to left
Pitch +100% - Rig Tilts Upwards
Heave +100% - Rig Tilts Upwards
Sway +100% - Rig Tilts Left
Surge +100% - Rig Tilts Upwards
    Extra1 +100% - Rig slides Left

I have real all ofthe documentation several times and it states that:
" Both boxes will be either checked or unchecked for surge and pitch, while only one will be checked for sway and the opposite one will be checked for roll."

However if i do as suggested, it seems to mess up the output testing. Should I assume that its fine as is or is there something i should look into?

    Thanks :)

My guess is one of your motors is wired backwards, but it won't really matter, as long as the movement for the axis goes the right way: https://www.xsimulator.net/community/faq/which-way-to-set-simtool-axis-movements.230/

they are all wired in the same way for sure.....

    Output Testing results:
Roll +100% - Rig Tilts to left
Pitch +100% - Rig Tilts Upwards
Heave +100% - Rig Tilts Upwards
Sway +100% - Rig Tilts Left
Surge +100% - Rig Tilts Upwards
    Extra1 +100% - Rig slides Left

so can you confirm that the above output testing is fine?

They need to be as per the link provided, for example pitch 100% should be tilt down, so you seem to have reversed assignments.

Pitch +100% - Rig Tilts downwards
Heave +100% - Rig Tilts downwards

Surge +100% - Rig Tilts Upwards
