Hiya guys. I'm building a set of SFX 100s to move a heavy rig (600+ lbs). I've got the SFX100s built, and bought 110ST motors and made adapters to mount them. The last piece of the puzzle here is to find some shaft couplings. The 110ST has a 19mm (3/4") shaft, and the ball screw shaft on the SFX100 is 10mm.

I've been searching high and low, and the only couplings I could find for 19mm to 10mm are very expensive oldham type couplings. From McMaster I'm looking at $91 per coupling!

    Any advice here is appreciated.

    TIA

Turn a spacer for the end of the screw to increase its diameter. I would guess it’s easier to find a 19 to 19 coupling.
Use Loctite 638 to hold the spacer in place. It has a shear strength of around 25 N mm2.
I am holding the quick release onto my small mige with it for my steering.

In the end, I bit the bullet and spent $360 on US made Oldham style modular couplings. The downside is they will require me to cut down the motor shafts, which isn't much of a deal I've done it many times before. The upside is they will last a lifetime...
