This looks like an exciting combat game, rather than true simulation. Thus far I have not found anything on relating to a telemetry API.

Yeah, looks pretty fun from what I've seen. Lets hope telemetry is a thing.

That is VR rather than HOTAS support, so more problematic if traditional controllers are not supported, as we could not then use the generic Joystick plugin.

    Just bought the game :)

Only flown the first mission, using a Thrustmaster T-flight Hotas X. Was a little worried as all the reviews about using a Hotas was negative...
It works just fine, only thing is; there is no presets, so you have to assign all axis and buttons, but that only takes 2 minutes - its not DCS, so you only use a few buttons anyways :)

The VR menus is low resolution, but usable (Index user) and everything seems to work just fine :)

Its great fun, not the best or most realistic graphics, but just fine - and its really nice to have an arcade game when you just want to play for 30 minutes :) The game is fast paced, one button for switching targets, one for machinegun and another for missiles - and then you feel as Maverick :-D

I am sure that there is more to it, but its really nice to just send missiles at bad guys without having to spend years on learning real fighter pilot skills and dying every time you corner too fast!

    Have played some more :)

I really like this game, very fast paced - each career mission is about ½ hour long and there is immediate action! I'm running 120Hz so probably in constant reprojection, but it is very smooth on mid/high settings (6600K/1080/Index)

Haven't bothered running FPS programs, as i don't care as long as it looks good and i don't get motion sickness :) There is a lot of fast manoeuvring, flying upside-down, turning tight and doing rolls, loops and that sort of thing and a good advise would be to look straight forward, not up through the "roof" of the canopy. That way I don't feel any motion sickness, as the cockpit act as a frame for your vision.

The graphics are actually kind of beautiful in their own over-saturated 80s kind of way :) It seems a bit low-res but haven't tried playing with supersampling yet.

The game runs and works really well, you use the headset to glance at buttons in the menu and confirm with mouse click, that is okay as you don't spend much time in the menus anyways.

So thumps up from here! Just what we needed in VR - for us that has small kids and not enough time, but needs a ½ hour break with lots of action :)

I bought it yesterday and I agree with what you wrote about the game, I played the first two missions and it was a nice entertaining arcade flying hour (TFlight Hotas X).

I noticed there's no plugin for it so I'll try the generic joystick one. I have to check if it works with Simtools v3 too

Oh, I didn't even dare to try it in VR; I played it with my projector and there's too much movement, upside-down, etc for me not to have motion sickness.
