    Hello everyone,

after a year of planning and building I have my 6 DOF rig ready.

I want to operate the rig with the DCS and Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020.

Now I ask myself which software should I use?

    SimTools or the FlyPTMover.

The mechanics were definitely the easier part for me, now a new challenge is coming.

    greeting

You can actually try both a see which suits you best, as the Demo version comes with the fully functional Live For Speed plugin, specifically for testing purposes, and FlyPT is free.

Whichever way you go it does take a bit of time to come to grips in getting the best out of motion profiles, but gets easier with practice.

FlyPT was initially developed specifically for 6DOF rigs and has evolved from there, so has finer but a bit more complex refinement process.

If you are going to be using a VR headset, depending on which headset, even if you use simtools, you could also want to use FlyPT Mover at the same time to use the Virtual Tracker for motion cancellation as your best option.

    Hi there,
I've been reading all the articles for the software for three days now. It seems more difficult to me than studying medicine. I think I'll try Dirt-e Software's Nutkicker first.

    Oops, sorry

Hi everyone, I've already heard the FlyPT Mover, my respect, what you did there. I also think the mover is very good, just that more parameters need to be set. The great success is the VR cast.
