I have a PT Actuator system with 4DOF + TL + Surge. I set up a default Game Profile per Barry's video (). Any ideas what could be causing the violent shaking? I'm trying to get up and going for the first time. Thanks.

Best to understand how SimTools works, and how to dial in a motion profile, as this video reflects personal views, but frankly is misinformed in some pretty basic stuff, such as the relationship and setting up of the likes of sway and roll, and Output Testing with respect to the Default profile, plus how best to wrangle the Tuning Center.

First grab a copy of the SimTools manual, keep it handy for reference as it is the key to understanding how SimTools actually works: https://www.xsimulator.net/community/faq/rtfm-start-with-the-official-simtools-documentation.117/

See the motion profile tips here: https://www.xsimulator.net/community/faq/steps-to-create-a-motion-profile.228/

I would suggest NOT setting filters or messing with Game Manager profiles until you have a base profile well and truly dialed in, using a mid range car and track.

It helps if you post pictures of all of your settings if you would like member feedback.

hey! I had this issue with AC as well. Unfortunately it seemed that all the commotion was coming from the pitch axis. I dialed it down in my tuning center increasing the min/max until all shaking got manageable. once I got it leveled out in tuning center I went a bit further and added a deadzone to 0.2 on pitch and turned up filtering to 4%, the shaking went away after all that. It left me enough smoothness to actually turn up the pitch in profile editor.
