Parallel connection of two IBT2 and good heat dissipation are a condition to ensure stable operation of IBT2. My test is that a single IBT2 under the original heat dissipation conditions cannot drive a 24v 250w DC motor to work continuously.

in theory they should have power to dissipate 500w 250w @ 24v they should be within the Safety operation Area of their datasheet.
here something does not return with the electrical connections.
I repeat, I had the brushes shorted (flying motor) for distraction assembly after revision, the ibt whistled, the cables heated like crazy, and I did not immediately understand what was happening. but nothing of them, even with a short circuit (only the resistance of the cable 25mmq x 2 + 2mt) did not burn.
for me they are very robust, thin the product is born defective this is possible.
    good continuation
