Congratulations to this successful next step, @ART FLY.

It seems that the motor is oscillating quite a bit, so that some more PID tuning may be needed.

Now that I finished Motor tuning in smc3utils I am looking forward to start testing in SimTools.

As I put so much time and spirit into this project I took some time checking what could be done to make DER GERÄT reliable and safe in the long run.

    crack2.jpeg crack1.jpeg

As I already felt the destruktive power my motors cold have when something goes wrong - I checked all parts today. I found the 21mm carpenter plate was wearing out an would later break if I do not put some bigger armory on it.

This iron I added will not only make the hardware of DER GERÄT last for a long period - it will for sure also positively improve the performence because the stiffer material will translate in more direct movement. We'll see the next days if that really happens. I am confident

DER GERÄT is working :grin and now just needs some more tuning perhaps.
I did almost 7 hours of non stop racing in Automobilista2 in VR with a friend last night.
Everything is still in place and the motors were just about handwarm :cheers

Next week is the wind sim projekt and maybe Squadrons Plugin and Manager Tuning and and and and and and ... I guess I will never get to the point - as my wife many times correctly mentioned:
"why don't you just play and enjoy it ?!?"

    ... I think YOU understand ;)

... maybe WE should really much more often listen to our wives

Because I was struggling a lot with my WindSim insallation I upload the small video for you which I made after I got it running and my friend D Max (check his YT channel for great content around his awesome MoSiRig and great VR tracks and circuits shows to the world since) encountered equal problems.

Please do not ask any questions about WindSim implementation here. I am not able to answer your questions! Please go ahead and find the WindSim forum where I found answers to my questions.

Now have fun with my Alpine-accent :)

Stay safe & as always Cheers from The Beautiful South - from BAVARiA,
    Yours ART FLY
