This is the source of your issue, it needs to maintain the file name, its referenced in a hardcoded way within beamNG , I dont know what you copied over, but you should prolly revert that file back... then we need to figure out why you dont have motionsim.lua

motionsim.lua defines what data is sent over UDP

both my laptop and desktop install of beamng has that file.

do you have an old version?... did you disable updates? find me the version of your BeamNG install actually lets make this a known.

I use it with the most updated version of steam, before i tried today he had to update beamng:).
I put the file main.lua back, but still no tractionloss.

    I could't find the C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\BeamNG.drive\lua\vehicle motionsim.lua on C:
    For me it's E:\Steam\steamapps\common\BeamNG.drive\lua\vehicle main.lua I think.
I go try sunday if i can find it somewhere els on my system.
    Thans so far.

I'm pretty confident that this is the source of the issue still, we need to figure out why we have different files.... I will look later today to see what that file is u are referring to.

Main.lua is not the same file/ concept, it does appear to seed the motionSim.lua as it even references it in mine... could you email me your main.lua,.. it appears that Main.lua is what updates motionsim.lua,.. so if I can see your main.lua,.. we can see if it is also trying to seed it,.. or something else... - PM me: https://www.xsimulator.net/community/faq/private-messaging.85/

not sure, that is not an error I have seen before in context to this plugin.

More information is needed in order to continue. hit the details button and copy the entire text details of what it is having an issue with. This may assist in leading to the correct culprit...

The plugin modifies 1 BeamNG text/script file, and that modification should not cause this issue. (that I am aware of...)

Please post pictures of all of your settings, including the Tuning Center while the game is running, as more context is needed for members to be able to offer advice.

What are your Interface Settings and does Output Testing work as expected?

Because from your Axis Assignment it does not look like SimTools is properly configured and that needs to be successfully done before messing with any plugin.

That is a configuration preset for SimTools, but what code and hardware is being used for the rig control, is it an Arduino or something else? Best to start your own build thread and detail everything, as sorting this out does not belong in a plugin thread.

A little explaination for the rig:
He is using my PLC hardware with 4 servo motors(a typical square 3 dof platform). The interface config is meant to send 6 dofs data seprately into the PLC(via serial RS485), and the PLC will assign the duty for each actuator.
His platform can run Assetto Corsa perfectly so the settings are not likely be the reason for the problem.
We also have changed the unicode lanuage to English(USA), but the shakes remains.
PS: in most games such as Dirt Rally 2, changing the unicode lanuage could solve the ramdom shake.
So I guess this plugin has some incompatible issues with system running in Chinese.
