Thanks @yobuddy for the gamevibe program. I am using it with my flight sim.
Just a FYI for others.. You can use Bluetooth to send out the vibes wirelessly.
I have my little Amazon Echo Dot hooked to my subwoofer amp and then to my transducer.
No need for an additional soundcard.
Saves a little on the wiring from the pc to the simrig also..:):):)

I'm trying to convert from SimXperience SimCommand/SimVibe over to game vibe to keep my motion and haptic feedback on the same software. The issue I have is I cannot get comparable control over vibrations for all sorts of triggers (most likely because I'm a newbie and GameVibe uses a different approach with a different lingo.

Question: Is there a way to import presets from other users?
Question: Are there people sharing their "setup" that I can use for iRacing, AMS2, etc... I'm not getting much luck at the moment with the quality of the effects. In other words, I'm not getting good vibes! :)

GameVibe Hi/Low profiles can be posted, see here, but I don't recall many doing so: https://www.xsimulator.net/community/threads/gamevibe-ready-profiles.12220/#post-159160

There files can be found here:
    "C:\Users\(your user folder)\AppData\Local\GameVibe\HiLowProfiles"

You are likely to need to provide far more detail than 'not getting good vibes', are you following the guide here and can you please post pictures of all of your settings, along with some explanation of what effects you are looking for, that way @yobuddy and others may be able to offer advice.

Going through the process of reinstalling everything on a new PC and run into a dll missing issue with SimVibe. Anyone know a fix? I have tried to download and run the DirectX9 update but it says I am OK for that.

Error is appearing when i click save after choosing my sound card.

The error say it can't find the file called "slimDX.dll" or one of it's dependencies.
My guess is its a .net dependency thing for slimDX since we can see that you have the file pressent.
Please make sure that windows does not have the older .net support off.

(Control panel, programs and features, Turn windows features on or off.)
Next, I would make sure you .net is up to date.

    Hey @yobuddy

Checked .net is on for older versions
    upload_2020-12-4_9-26-0.png

Also checked .NET is up to date

GameVibe still crashes, checked again after the PC was off all night. Quite the head scratcher!

I also had this problem and was struggeling to get a solution.
I have to start the game and be on the track before starting game vibe and then it's working.
But that's not a perfect solution because i'm using a HP Reverb G2 VR headset with motion cancelation on steam and if i'm trying to to go back to Windows to open game vibe most of the time someting got crazy and shut down steam VR or the game hangs or something else.
Is there another solution to get it working?
In non VR version i also have to start game vibe on the track but it's possible without crash.

It turned out to be just ignorance on my part. The sim software needed to have run at least once with game vibe on for it to 'understand' the vibe names. Once its setup like that it remembers in future.

Ok, forget my previous post! Worked to long this day! :-D Of course i have to put the second PC Network IP into Game Manager. Since i set a static IP for both PCs now it's working well.

Well for my problem an easy solution. Gave up trying to get it to work with the new PC in December and carried on racing for a few months with just the motion. Today I thought, lets have a look at Game Vibe again and it works. Did nothing myself, presume some windows update broke/fixed it but who knows!

Not sure if it works from onboard sound, for mine I bought a USB soundcard.

If it does work with internal cards then you also need the Pro licence, make sure it says Pro in the top right of the Game manager screen.
