    Welcome @Joseba aranguena.

You don't need to have everything perfect before posting your rig, many members enjoy following the ups and downs of DIY motion sim projects.

When you are ready please start your own project thread here, ask any questions you have there and detail your project progress: http://www.xsimulator.net/community/forums/diy-motion-simulator-projects.22/

    Good luck with your project.

    Hello Everybody!
I am in Bogota Colombia, and been a sim user since Outrun days. Got an Amazon email with a seat motion simulator for "only $3k" and decided to do a DIY motion simulator search which put me here. Been reading this and there from a while and started my rig using 40x40 profile based on @Erwan960 design but changed to a new configuration inspired on @noorbeast 's compact design but no motion so far. Bought a couple of JRKs, two Canadian motors and some other additional stuff. I am implementing a design to monitor some stuff to enable/disable PS, reset JRKs, control emergency stop, etc.
Thank you all for the information put into the site.

    Welcome @JohnPJenn

We have a dedicated DOFreality thread: https://www.xsimulator.net/communit...-3dof-6dof-motion-simulator-dof-reality.8570/

If you want to start a thread to show off your new rig, or if you have questions or need help then use the Commercial thread section, as that is where posts for commercial rigs and peripherals go.

Enjoy your new rig, there is plenty to learn ans tweak to get the very best out of it, if you have questions then see the FAQs: https://www.xsimulator.net/community/faq/

In particular the SimTools FAQ section: https://www.xsimulator.net/community/faq/simtools-settings-tips-and-tricks.18/category

I am looking forward to seeing your rig in action.

    Welcome @TheYellowBatman

You have come to the right place, as the members here have a wealth of knowledge and freely share their expertise.

There is a bit to learn, but just take it slow, and double check with the community before doing stuff.

I see you have started a thread. which is great, ask all your questions there so all of the information is in one place.

    hi all

    Im crisisguy from the UK.

First post so please go easy on me. Ive been lurking here for some while now and am impressed with what people are achieving now with home builds

I have been looking to build a motion sim for years and finally taking the plunge. Been flying flight sims since they first came out on the 80's and now in my old age getting into racing sims. I purchased an aluminium profile rig recently (Trakracer) and was impressed with the quality and easy of build.

Then came a butt kicker which made the immersion even better, purchased Simvibe and then I ordered another sound card and 4 more transducers plus 2 bass amps.

Ive ordered all the parts for a 4 DOF SFX-100 build including Prusar 3d printer. Any excuse for some new toys!

Assembly skills shouldn't be an issue, i built a homebuilt kit aircraft a while back and after 400 hours flying the wings have stayed on. Software diagnosis is not a skill though and am anxious if things dont work when all connected up.

Im Looking forward to learning more
