    hi
My new design is a 6dof compact seat based on wiper motors.
    Basic assumptions:

    1. Soft - Sim Tools 2.51
    2. Arduino UNO SMC3 v1.0 x2
    3.BTS7960B x6 motor driver
    4. VALEO 404.027 wiper motor x6

    Best regards

    hi
    I have a question
    Do I think right?
    5 cm arm we will get strength = 10 * 100/5 =200 N ( 20kg)
    with 6 actuators we have 6 x20 kg = 120 kg
    at total load =110 kg
    110kg<120kg it's enough?
Should I use telescop spring support?

    best regards

    Arduino Uno has 6 PWM pins (3, 5, 6, 9, 10 and 11): you don't need 2 arduino boards

yes, 10Nm torque with 5cm arm gives 20kg

BUT 120kg vs 110kg is not enough
and at what speed? max torque is achieve at lowest speed.

Check the specs! here I readd 5Nm...
    that https://www.smolka-berlin.de/online...iper_motor,_gear_motor_24V_DC,_type_SW2L/5814

Please add your location in your profile! we may advice you some place where to buy suitable motors

@aliaero has not been active since late 2012, so you are unlikely to find more information other than the old build thread.

As @RacingMat has already indicated wiper motors are not a suitable choice for a 6DOF rig, if you created a low enough ratio actuator to take the load then the resultant speed would be way too slow for good motion.

    hi
    thx Noorbeast
I wonder is it impossible to support the weak force of spring / spring gas

gas spring will slow the movements both ways... that's bad

the only wiper 6 DOF I know is this one BUT it's 24V driven and short arms
AND I far as I remember, the builder didn't keep this design and build something else (but not 100% sure)

    Hi
    I must consider
Thank you very much for the good tips
    I think I have a bad idea
The platform is to be used for flight simulators
Do you have any tips ?

    Hi
    Has anyone tried this solution?
    electric parallel connection
    one regulator
    one potentiometer
    best regards

    Hi tadek

Please keep in mind that the third PWM has not the fully frequency.
I had a setup just like you but i used 3 Arduino.

Do not save on an Arduino, you will only get more difficulties

    kind regards

    Hello C1500
    Have you used FLYPT?
Does it connect via Arduino with the SMC3 batch?
    Best regards

Yes i still use mover and have used FlyPT´s former software.
Works great for me with 3 Arduinos and SMC3

    Hi
    C1500
    Have you tested
    layout with 2 Arduino?
Do you think this system is better?
