can't tell from your drawings but don't forget to add an adjustable slide for the wheel distance to driver.

I have an OSW with the large mige so my wheel is strong and I don't have that centre bar so I'm sure you'd be fine without that but it doesn't hur. i know Im glad i had the wheel distance adjustable as well as height even changing rims on my wheel.

@EntonoX @Nick Moxley @noorbeast @PiaMan just curious..when using wiper motor it is impossible to mount the motor at the same position, somehow we have to make adjustment at both side.
so what is the rule of thumb of wiper motor positioning?make motor shaft center between motor?
    - so it will make rotation of motor shaft rotate at opposite way (one up, one down), do we make adjustment with "switch polarity" one of the motor?or anything else?
    - do we have to make adjustment on electronic if we use gear motor?(of course we dont have to with positioning because we can switch the shaft)

    sorry for disturbing your thread

I think i know what you mean. My motors are equal as well so one side is mounted the other way around. Keep the centre of the shafts in line. In the SMC3 software you can choose to invert one motor, as well as with the Simtools software. Sorry for the late reply :)

Back again after a long period :) in the mean time i moved into another home, which needed some attention :roll. But the main thing is that my game / office room size is upgraded:thumbs.

Now that autumn is coming i have some time for the indoor hobbies. My simulator is mainly as it was last time around. I added some seatbelts, tidyed up the cabling and got a pair of gloves.

    Now for the future plans:

    Buttkicker / bass shaker
Lately i had an afternoon af simracing at a simracing shop here in the Netherlands. The didn't have a moving simulator but they did have a buttkicker attached to the seat. I was immediately impressed, you get a lot of feedback through these, which you not always get with movement alone. So my future project was born!

I noticed GameVibe is part of SimTools and can be used with a 2nd soundcard. Looked up some tutorials on youtube and decided to go with this setup:

    IMG_20201006_203653.jpg IMG_20201006_203701.jpg IMG_20201006_203714.jpg

USB Soundcard, powercord and audio cable are not delivered yet so i have to wait a little before assembly can begin:(. For now i'm planning to attach one kicker to the seat and the other one on the frame around the pedals somewhere. Is that a common setup? anybody has the same setup?

    Update and a question :)

Coming along nicely with setting up the new hardware with GameVibe. I also update SimTools to 2.4 (was on 1.x) and therefore needed to calibrate everything again. I also update the SMC3 firmware to 1.0.1.

Now i encounter some strange behaviour; Some of my axis have the strange behaviour of a fast motion jerk at the end of the range. For example; when i test my yaw axis it moves nice and slow from 0 to let say 90% and then a fast jerk to the end of the range. when i reverse it starts to move at about 65 % and when around 0 it jerks back. (Almost looks like exponential movement) Anyone encountered this? i did a load of testing in Assetto Corsa, thinking it was a profile setting, but i can replicate this behaviour in the Axis Testing too...:(
EDIT: the movement in SMC3utils seems perfect, so i think it has to be something with simtools / settings...
