    I came across the following video on youtube. It seems like it works great and saves cost on potentiometers? It looks silly but if it works it aint stupid right? I am not saying I would go this route, however it could be a nice trick to test things out as starters. What do you guys think?

    Well, if it works it isn't stupid right? :p But other than that, yes it's not something you'd want to take too serious ;) But if you do not have potentiometer to read out position of a motor, you could do it more or less with this method. :D

    it is certainly very original and creative, but of course it is easier to have a potentiometer than a radio control, but it is creative the idea is.
    use traslator.
