Hello, could someone explain to me how the flypt virtual tracker works exactly? how can he differentiate a displacement of my head to approach the plane's panel, from the forward displacement of the simulator by the dof pitch?
because when I fly on the dcs, I need both controllers on the headset to have a perfect immersion.

    Great product great work, thanks.

Today I'd returned to my rig after several days off and motion compensation did not work anymore:

The Vive tracker was still visible but could not been set to motion compensation mode, same with controllers.
Unknown device mode 7 and device not tracking

After some testing I could solve that issue with "opting out" from Steam VR betas. Unclicking this option, the last "real" version was installed and motion compensation is now working again.

Latest SteamVR version broke OVRMC and a lot of other add-ons. If you can, try to roll one version back.
If SteamVR hasn't updated yet, disable auto update.

I have to look what was changed exactly.

I guess we have to be grateful that SteamVR has been pretty stable until now, thanks so much for being willing to jump in and sort out what has changed.

Ive done the hard work in case you need to revert.
Rename the SteamVR folder and unrar this into steamapps\common. It says 1.14 on version for me but its the 1.13 files and the Motion comp works.

    steam\steamapps\common\SteamVR

Make sure X:\steam\steamapps\appmanifest_244210.acf is set to "StateFlags" "4" so it does not auto update

Thanks for your efforts, but for me it shows 1.14 and the dates of the bin files are today. OVRMC says device not found. So I am not so sure this is 1.13.

My SteamVR keeps crashing whenever OVRMC is enabled. I have tried uninstalling OVRMC and SteamVR, then reinstalling both. It still crashes after a short time. Not even running any VR application, just looking at an empty VR landscape.

Is there anyone else with SteamVR crashes with 0.3.2, or is it just me? Any hints what apart from reinstalling SteamVR and OVRMC could be done to fix it? I have looked for SteamVR logs, but unfortunately, in the logs I found, there is nothing that is connected to the crashes. It just stores an empty crash log.

OVRMC is a plugin to SteamVR. It will work with any program that uses SteamVR for VR, irrespective of where you bought it.

If you are experiencing crashes, please provide a detailed error description (OS, HMD...). Please don't write your description in a rush and double check if a 3rd person would understand your situation.
Also the log files are needed:
    https://ovrmc.dschadu.de/en/faq#where-are-the-logs
Otherwise I'm not able to help.
