    You need to replace a STM32 for this problem
    I encountered this problem when I first started researching the project
    You buy a new STM32 to solve the problem
    Hope to help you
    Have a nice time

    I can make a Fanatec pedal
    Unfortunately
    I don’t have a Fanatec pedal, so I can’t test it for you

    Hi there.

    One supplier can find me out " the 17-bit or 23-bit Biss-C encoder"...
    Is it possible to work any of them with MMOS?
    (He cannot supply the 40000CPR)

    Ty!

    He guys,
    Build the setup yesterday with an M10015 And I have to say, I'm quit impressed. Very strong (almost twisted my thumb out already ) and no jitter in movements.

    Just the high pitch noise is irritating for me and most likely for my 2 cats.
    I do have the filter -1.jpg
    But I'm not sure if this helps because it's very hearable.
    Any suggestions? Settings etc...

    Also the fanatec pedals I connected work but the "travel" of the potmeters seems like 75% of the travel I had before. Is there in this case something I can change?

    All in all I'm very happy with the outcome at this point. But fine tuning is necesssary.

    All suggestions are welcome.

    TIA

    Bakhol

    The filter you show should of taken care of much of the noise. I used it on my wheel and it made a huge difference. If you remove it from your setup you should hear ten times the noise and vibrations. If not your filter is not wired correctly. I also installed the DAC converter chip in line with the filter and there is virtually zero noise or vibrations felt. I included the pictures of the DAC mounted on a carrier (breakout) board. The blank carrier board cost almost the same as the DAC itself. The other picture is the back of the board with the 2 bypass capacitors and the wire connection needed.
    I will also comment that the Thanos interface board is a bargain @ $79... It is just out of stock right now.

    Hi, thank you for the question.

    I tried JOG-test. FN002 (first had to figure that out :) )
    Than.....it is totaly silence. The shaft is turning fast and smoothly when going CW or CCW.
    With the e-stop disabled the motor is wining again. And "JOG-E" displayed on the AASD-30A's screen.
    With e-stop enabled, total silence.

    Thank you for your suggestion.

    (Edit) After investigating...I'm finding out that the servo driver is wining not the servo itself.
    Due to the high pitch noise, it was hard to find out...even the wall was making that sound.

    Are there setttings in the AASD which can make the difference?

    Thanks again :)

    @JonBakhol
    The same noise as in the JOG test is normal.
    Is mmos 16.8Khz?
    Are you using 2k and 1uf for LPF?
    ceramic capacitor?

    Sound with JOG test is okay.
    MMOS setup is 16 Khz..
    I do have the 2K and 1uF between PE9 and DB25 pin 13 and 25.

    @JonBakhol
    Change Pn003 to 1, e-stop function is reversed.
    Test with e-stop enabled.

    It is a non ceramic capacitor. -pole connected to pin 13 and 25.
    Pedals are fanatec: trottle and clutch (brake is a hx711 loadcell).

    No, sorry.
    With PN003 at 1 the wining is always the same.
    JOG test can't be performed. Always JOG-E (with or without E-stop)

    Anymore tips :)

    Thanks as always

    @JonBakhol
    It may not work unless a ceramic capacitor,due to ESR.

    @sedesa tatasa
    Put a new ceramic 1 ųF capacitor in but behaviour is the same as with the non ceramic one.
    With PN003 to 1. jog-test can't be performed.

    Thank again

    @JonBakhol
    Is there any change in sound with or without a capacitor?
    Disconnect pa0 pa1 pa2, is there any change in the sound?
    Disconnect pe9 and pin13, is there any change in the sound?
    To identify the cause.

    hi guys correct me if im wrong but the noise your trying to remove is unfortunatley a design issue in the AASD servo controller , i thnk your refering to the 10KHz pwm signal , its something that cannot be removed at the moment , though i understand the AASD design team are Looking into this issue , all Servo driver to a greater or lesser extent have this issue ,and its my understanding that this frequency affetct some users more than others ( age and Hearing range being a factor) .. as it stands the sound can be dampened but will always be there in this Model of servo controller. as mentioned im no expert , it's just info gathered from various sources that are also looking for a soloution to this annoying issue....

    In My c ase Being of the elder generation And also Deaf :) i dont have this Problem , but fingers crossed if they solcve this for you guys ,then there will be a lot more sales of these AASD15 units cos for some this noise is a Dealbreaker Project wise .. Just thought id chime in :)
