    A lever provides maximum torque when parallel to the seat with the rod at 90 degrees anything over 38-40 degrees up or down from there is very inefficient use of torque.

    Closer to 75-80 degrees total is about the max range before torque efficiency drops dramatically, which just results in unnecessary strain on the motors.
