Been setting up my prototype wheelchair motor 4x bowden harness tension today with a powerful motor. Its rated at 24v but running at 12v so thats half the power. I had a hard stop max range built into the cable system for exactly this reason but it would have hurt a bit anyway. I was not in the rig though. I'm also planning to install a power cut switch like MarkusB has on his system as an extra precaution.

So before you go any further with you project if it has some power make sure you keep your bones safe and keep emergency off and hard stops on your setup.

FIY this was on a sabertooth 2x32 at 500 baud for testing. Never run them at 500, i see many people have this exact issue so make sure to ground to port 8 on the ardunio for 115. Its in the faq.
