    Possibilities around here are:

MM (dual h-bridge) about US$ 20. For 2 motors I will need at least 2x MM will cost US$ 40. 30A continuous each motor.

    Bts7960b US$ 15. For 2 motors US$ 30. 45A continuous each motor.

What would be the best deal for a simple 2dof?
    What is the most reliable?
    Thanks

The MM's are usually $8-$10 USD including shipping. But I would purchase a few spares and maybe get a couple each from several different suppliers since they tend to be poorly made. I've been lucky and never had one fail, but a lot of people have had problems with various suppliers.

I've never used the Bts7960b's so I can't say much about them. They are usually slightly more expensive than the MM's but they include a heat sink which saves a lot of headache. Higher voltage and higher current so in theory they sound better, but I don't have any real world experience with them.

I love my JRK's but they are so expensive. I can easily get 10 MM's for the same price.

I bought 2 MM and one was jammed. So now I can only drive 1dof. I tested in 2dof mode with 2 tamyia 1/10 rc cars and my impressions are they get a hot even to drive these small cars. Mainly when reversing back and forth they tend to get hot.
Then I ordered 2 Bts7960b that will arrive in a couple of days and I will post here the results.
Bts7960b seems to be less popular here in the forum. Even though they claim to drive more power.
