Just checked out the site. Is the motor any good for use as a traction loss in a 3dof rig? Is it powerful enough? my rig is made with 8020 alu profiles and SimXperience SCN5 actuators.

The engine torque is 800Ncm. It corresponds to 8Nm not 0.8Nm

8 Nm should be ok for a motion seat

Mainly depends on the lower arm of the structure!I don't think 8nm is enough

For a basic 2DOF SimCalc can help you get your head around design Vs physics tradeoffs: https://www.xsimulator.net/communit...e-linear-speed-and-forces-of-your-design.270/

For more complex designs see the relevant sections in the FAQs, as well as research successful projects completed to testing.
