Good morning everyone I'm evaluating the various components to buy to create a 2DOF simulator with Arduino + Motomoster as
    (Https://www.xsimulator.net/community/threads/from-atoz-2dof-arduino-wiper-playseat.4616/)

I'd like to cover this engine

    https://www.ebay.it/itm/Motore-Elet...50W-2700-Giri-Min-Motoriduttore-/283656329773

Do you think it's good as an engine?

Hi, if you are going to use the motor with the gear than no. 2500 U/min? If I understand the specs correctly, the motor ist spinning with 2500 U/min and the gear ratio ist 9,7: 1, which is still too fast. That said, there is not enough rotational force when spinning slowly. At least the gear could be too weak, as the weight of the seat including the driver is not to be underestimated.

grazie tante per il consiglio ....sei stato molto gentile....il peso complessivo del sedile con conducente è sui 96Kg...
mentre un motore del genere va meglio?

I recommend you bosch engines of citroen xantia, mercedes or vans in junkyards, they are for 30 euros each, each car has a front one and they are never exactly the same, but new ones are worth between 200 and 300 euros or more, they are very good engines better than those from aliexpress.

Front windshield wiper car engines, each car carries only one, large car, type mercedes bmw, cintroen xantia, renault laguna etc each car has only one front and you have to get 2 of the same model, sorry do not specify the type of engine, It is windshield wiper and they are expensive if you buy new ones better than those and sell them cheaply in car junkyards.

For the simulator, it is not possible, since each motor is controlled with a potentiometer and a control board, and it would not be possible to send the orders to reverse the polarity if they are on the same line, they must be separated, for example in a 6dof each motor has a source, a potentiometer and a control board type ibt2, motomoster etc, I recommend ibt2 and code smc3 v1.01, ibt2 are better than motomoster.
    use translator excuse me.

The simplest and cheapest is to look for 24v dc motors, they also usually have them in the scrap yards if they have
    trucks, or vans, or buses
, I think their idea is very complicated to carry out, honestly.
But everything is possible with imagination and knowing how to program code, I don't know.

24v wheel chair motor off eBay. Loads of power rpm and hardly cost more than a bigger wiper motor. Just make sure to get them with the wheel hubs on. The m12 nut is not standard.

There's a fair backlash on them so a counter spring to keep it loaded would be good
