    Welcome @GeronimoQ13.

You have come to the right place, as there is a really active community here who freely give of their time and expertise.

You can search for specific types of projects like SFX-100 using the Google Custom Search function on the Recent page: https://www.xsimulator.net/community/find-new/posts?recent=1

If something sounds odd then look it up in the glossary: http://www.xsimulator.net/community/faq/glossary-of-acronyms-and-names.66/

When you are ready please start your own project thread here: http://www.xsimulator.net/community/forums/diy-motion-simulator-projects.22/

Good luck with your SFX-100 project.

    Welcome @fra242.

Doing some research before getting in too deep is time well spent.

You will find plenty of helpful information in the FAQs, in particular check out the Arduino, StimTools, fundamentals of motion and the design sections: http://www.xsimulator.net/community/faq/

If something sounds odd then look it up in the glossary: http://www.xsimulator.net/community/faq/glossary-of-acronyms-and-names.66/

When you are ready please start your own project thread here, ask any questions you have there and detail your project progress: http://www.xsimulator.net/community/forums/diy-motion-simulator-projects.22/

    Good luck with your project.

    Hi everyone,
my name is Dominik (28). I live in Slovakia and working as Android programmer.

I started my SFX100 build with DIY rig a month ago and yesterday I finished my 4 motors. Im so excited to start testing it today and as tomorrow we have national holiday it will be an amazing weekend :D
I just need to understand the Simtool licences and apparently also Game plugins.

    Welcome @Dominik Mičuta.

I look forward to following your build progress, I am presuming you are aware that the @Thanos controller is required to use an SFX100 with SimTools.

See the FAQs here regarding the free SimTools DIY license eligibility: https://www.xsimulator.net/community/faq/request-a-free-diy-simtools-2-0-license.262/

There is the option to upgrade from the DIY to Pro SimTools license for $29.99, if you want to utilise any or all of the SimTools companion apps: https://www.xsimulator.net/community/marketplace/categories/official-companion-apps.32/

SimTools (software) and Xsimulator.net (community and community developed plugins) are two different entities: https://www.xsimulator.net/community/faq/simtools-and-xsimulator-partnership-explained.275/

So with plugin access you can either use forum activity coins or buy a membership package, see here for details: https://www.xsimulator.net/community/faq/coins-and-how-to-download-plugins.2/

For testing purposes the free version of SimTools includes the fully functional plugin for Live For Speed.

Hi, i am Matt from Quebec province canada, i am planning my first 2dof setup, probably a seat mover or full frame, im not sure yet. I have some mechanical/welding/racing and computers background but i am totally new to motor controllers etc....I have to say i have a hard time figuring out the electronic parts of the setup, especially the controllers(Arduino boards vs jrk 12v12 etc...) and power supplies (battery vs no battery). i am looking for an easy and clean electronic setup. Hopefully ill find all my answers on this forum. Thanks a lot!

Your profile shows as Gold Contributor status is active, so it should be working, but our site admin @RaceRay can double check that when he has a spare moment.

    Welcome @Elielder

Please be aware that you can dual language post but it is part of the Forum Rules that you also include English, doing so via Google Translate is fine: https://www.xsimulator.net/community/threads/forum-rules.9527/

Don't worry if Google Translate messes something up, as we have many bi-lingual members who can help clarify.
