    Hi folks,

besides my 2DOF Project i´m also thinking about upcoming Projects like a Wheelbase/Wheel, Pedals and the Shifter (sequential).
After reading a lot about that (the mechanical part is no problem) i´m not sure what to use to control these things.
Will i need a Arduino Nano or must it be a Uno ?
Is a USB Controller enough to do the job right?

    But, first things first:
#1 I´m planning a Dashboard. At first i will use a small TM1638 with an Nano. I know how that works.
#2 I´m planning a sequential Shifter. I have a Smart Shifterbox and will have to do the pinout. When thats done, the Shifter shall be connected to a Device (Arduino or USB Controller)
#3 Pedals and Whellbase, will be build. Used with Arduino or USB Contoller ?

Maybe theres already a threat about it i didn´t find.

    ML

    Edit:
Will it make sense, just using an old Gamepad, disasseble it and use it for the Peripherals ?

    Good evening ladies and gentlemen,

i think i will try out the "DIY Pedals & Buttons Controller" from this threat https://www.xsimulator.net/community/threads/diy-pedals-buttons-controller.8867/

Well, i can do a lot hardware works and also the electrical (and even more complicated) side. But to work out something , which depends on Software... No way
So i think the above mentioned threat will solve all my problems.

    Thanks noorbeast !
Next time i will first look for the FAQ :roll
