    Are you sure??
60 rpm and 48nm is enough.
Theese motors are they using on the dof reality rigs, simukits are using Theese specs..
So i dont think i need a New motor..

The motor you are referring to is between 30-40nm , mine is as i Said 48nm, with 24v this motor should do the Job.

Ah, sorry! I just looked at the first set of specs without the gearbox. Yes, these are fine, but it looks like you need to drive them at 24v to get 60rpm? You can also drive them at 12v if you add additional gears, but I hear you can lose some detail. Or, you can lengthen the arm with 12v for faster response. I guess it all depends on if 12v is fine for your rig. Also, each chip on the moto monster drives 1 motor. So, since each MM has two chips, if you have an MM board that fully works, you just need one board. For mine, I had faulty MM's, so I use one chip from one full board for one motor, then another working chip from another MM for another motor.

I think the easiest solution is to get a board that is 24v like sabertooth. Its pricey, but you don't have to go through the trouble of finding a working MM AND you get 24v for full speed.

Are you using sim tools ?

Which motor driver do you run already ?

Yes, I use simtools, with smc3 on the arduino and MMs to drive the motors (wiper motors)... oh wait, were you asking the OP?

I‘m new to the motion-sim world.

finding the right motor is so frustrating.
i wonder what‘s the most important specs on a motor...
is it watts or rpm or nm?!:(
i wonder why a 12v 40w wipermotor are powerful enough to move a seat and specs seen here are mostly 24v 200 or more w...

could a simple ibt-2 driver handle the job here?
i ask myself the same questions like you do...

What motor you need is related to design decisions, so use SimCalc to help get your head around design Vs physics: https://www.xsimulator.net/communit...e-linear-speed-and-forces-of-your-design.270/
