Hello, I ave been using snc5 for traction loss . i find the calibration always parial if i am seated in terms of range of motion. i believe me and my rig are too heavy . i used plywood at the pivoting base and the rpolfile section of the aluminium i used is 45 mm so i guess that s too heavy.
dis anyone experience that too. I presume i should go with a stronger motor .

also, if i am not seated , the calibration is fine and the game play is fine in terms of traction loss.

    any input is appreciated, thx

A video would help, but it does sound like the SCN5 is struggling.

How is the friction of your TL pivot and supports, again a picture would help.

thanks for answering. i used ball bearing. maybe i should have used swivels. the TL pivot in a lady suzan quite large (maybe 5 inches diameter). It is been years now and is not visible in between plywood. but yeah, there is friction under neath me. I can see the stainless sheet all bent up because of the pression. it is struggling because i believe my setup is too heavy. however, if i let the calibration process without me being in the chair , the motion is full, and the game play is then better . Reducing the speed of the actuator (TL only) seems to improve the game play also. yeah, i will make some videos. but i know the motor is a tad too weak for my setup. i was thinking of adding 1 or 2 swivel to help the motion just beneath me an/or change motor all together for a stronger one or buy some aluminium to redo the pivoting mechanism and ditch the plywood. i don't know yet. It is a hell of a work to a the end have a similar setup !
