    My Motion Simulator:
    6DOF
    Hello everyone,

I'm brand new to all this... Any help would be very much appreciated.

I'm planning on taking my current X-Plane 11 static simulator/cockpit and adding 6DOF to it... My wife thinks I'm nuts... She might be right ! ! !

I haven't designed a rig yet, but definitely planning on the Rotating-Hexapod setup that can move a platform about 250kg with Linear Velocity around 250mm/sec. I'm planning on doing this using 5.5" crack-arms and 80:1 gear boxes.

Last week I purchased Thanos' AASD-15A device and downloaded the FlyPT mover software.

This week I purchased six of the 90ST-M04025 motors (with drivers) from AliExpress.

This weekend I'm planning to try and figure out what FlyPT is all about. If not totally lost by the end of weekend, next week I'll start looking into how I'm going to get data from X-Plane 11 into it.

    T O D A Y ' S I S S U E . . .
I'm having no luck finding a 80:1 (or any ratio) worm/gearbox that matches up to the 90ST-M04025's 16mm Output shaft (w/ 5mm key).

Being I'm completely new to this, I'm stuck... Do I need an Output-Shaft spacer/adapter or something like that? -- Or I'm just looking in the wrong areas.

Again, any help would be very much appreciated !

When I contacted Hangzhou Mige Electric Co., Ltd. directly though Alibaba about getting some matching gearboxes for their 90ST motors they said that they had them available. I was requesting 50:1 but they have other options. They quoted me about $135 per gearbox.
