    No, Pimax 5k+
I've still got a bit more fiddling around to check out all the motion comp possibilities.
I noticed that OpenVR Advanced Settings is setup differently to OpenVR Input Emulator.

But my gaming PC has some problem and Im doing a reformat and reinstall to see if it fixes.
I'll be back at it this weekend.

If you continue to have problems you'll have to try to get some of the Pimax users talking. I know some of them say they have it working fine but I haven't seen them break down how to make it work properly for the poor bastards who are having issues with them.

This kind of thing is 90%+ of the reason I decided to go with Index instead of a 5K+. I might try to pick up a 5K+ cheap on ebay after lots of people upgrade to the 8k+ and sell the old one to recoup some of the cost. I've even got a deluxe audio strap and a 3D printer for the adapters.....

will this work with the Rift-S? i would love to know if this would work with roll or sway?

Last I knew this unfortunately doesn't play well with the Oculus compositor due to Facebook's policy. It sorta halfway worked, but roll was definitely broken when I tried it last.

I actually ditched the Rift and switched to Vive (and now Index) for exactly this reason.

I´ve had no problems for long time but now had two times problems with tracking. View jumped about 5m above the car and I was lying on the air my face down and 90 decrees angle with my car. View also returned back to cockpit after awhile. This happend many time during the race even when I switched motion Simulator off so I think this was not motion that caused this problem but something else. Both times I was using Teamspeak (that was only difference I could figure out compared to no-problem situations) so that led me to think if there is some software conflicts that migth cause these problems?

Funny you should mention TS as I have had to stop using it at times as it would make my game Lag real hard. Turned TS off and smooth again, it only does it sometimes not all the time.

Might be unrelated to your problem but defo may be a conflict of somesort

What is the word on this with the Index currently? All I need from it is to cancel out yaw (TL), don't care about anything else. Is this easily achievable? In Dirt Rally 2 I am finding myself looking through my driver side window on a lot of corners in vr because my TL moves so much.

Yes, that is the purpose of motion cancellation.

With my oculus S I don’t have any issues even with heavy motion.., no cockpit drifting o jumping.
With the CV1 I was having some tracking issues even with my sensor mounted in the cockpit but with the oculus S inside outside tracking no problems at all.

How many sensors and where (ON or OFF platform) Rift S needs ?

The Rift S uses inside out tracking, so does not have sensors, its tracking cameras are in the HMD itself.

No sensor attached to the rig?
How than it’s cancelling the motion ?

How it can make a difference between head tilting and platform tilting ?

    @Wajdi
May I again ask, are you using those and if yes where are they positioned ?

Those tracking cameras are for the original CV1 Rift with outside in tracking, the Rift S does not use them, instead it has multiple cameras embedded in the HMD, which use the real environment to work out where the HMD is.

As they told you the oculus rift S doesn’t use any exterior sensors. As I told you it works perfectly without any problem. Before buying it I was doubtful about it thinking that out/inside tracking will cause tracking drifting/loss without sensors mounted on the cockpit but with my surprise my virtual cockpit is steady perfectly and I don’t have to use the recenter button at all even with heavy motion settings.

Thanks for precision. I still don’t understand how in this case the rotational compensating could work.

So if you bank your chair by 25deg. how the headset knows that you didn’t tilt your head actually ?.

How it knows that the reference for rotations HAS TO BE the platform and not the room !

    Do you understand my question?
