I recycled my slider from an old static rig seat slider.

In terms of force keep in mind a seat slider is generally designed to cope with the mass of the seat and occupant in traffic accidents, so no I don't see an issue with brake pedal forces.

I've no experience with seat sliders, but I would assume they would lock in place well. There is a bit of force when using pedals, but a seat slider should able to withstand forces exerted on both seat with a body in it without play.

In simvibe I only set the frequency for big and/or small bumps. There are no ranges except for engine rpm, but there are some additional settings that might adjust the output. The description of what these additional settings do are somewhat cryptic. I need to read up on those. It might be there is a range involved, but not that I know of currently.

When you get a chance, share hz range you have set for RPM :) Cheers!

It looks like doing above also turns off Game Vibe. The reason I want to turn off motion, is sometimes it is useful to work on GV settings separately. Is there another way to just turn off motion?

Temporarily disable your Axis Assignments by setting them to nothing.

    Hi!

When I used the mini-lfes I tried them with the DSP version of the inuke amp. It does have EQ and I lowered the dB around 35hz. That made the output of the transducer more even through its range and made it possible to get more effect before and after 35hz without the 35hz making go crazy.

Weird I didn't mention using EQ earlier in this post. Have you gotten it tuned to good effect now?

    Hi Petro,
This is very interesting. Are you saying you got more out of kicker by just lowering ~35Hz? Do you remember how many db you dropped? Maybe you've curve saved somewhere?

I just realized I could use software EQ, based on this thread: https://www.racedepartment.com/thre...ringer-inuke-dsp-amplifier-buttkicker.132176/

I quickly hacked up a curve looking like this and improvement was impressive. But it is interesting you said you did not reduce lower Hz range.

Regarding transducer tune up overall, I got very promising results with SimHub. I absolutely love wheel slip/lock that rF2 physics does not simulate via motion, hopefully that will change in the future. I am in process of figuring out optimal volume/effect levels, so that LFE mini does not cut off into into safe mode, but I am close.

    Cheers!

Just a quick reply before I go to bed here. It's been a while since I experimented with the mini lfe and I don't quite remember the details of the equializing to be honest. I was struggling a bit as my two mini-lfe'es weren't uniform in their behaviour with same settings. I was following a guide from Mr.Latte on racedepartment. He and another user had some settings for the inuke DSP amp that I tried out. Can't remember if I lowered the dB like you did in your picture or lowered it just around 35 Hz. Can't find the posts, but will try searching some more tomorrow. Take my input as rough guidelines. Looks like you are on the right path. Besides, your mounting and your rig might require some local customization anyways.

    Catch you later!

a bit of an update on my build. So my initial "design" to mount Mini's on pedal plate raiser was a bad decision. Tiny Mini managed to break the raiser! Reminds you that nothing lasts forever.

However, new location (under the pedal plate) is more successful, gives more sensation at a cost of a bit of locality/spatialization.

Also, attaching my EQ APO settings for Mini (Recon 3D) and LFE (AE5)

    Lastly, attaching SimHub profile I use for rF2 and R3E (4 mini's + 4 lfe at "corners").
