    Hi,

I designed some Vive controller mounts with different attachments:

    Flat surface: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3376845
    Bucket seat: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3376822
    Generic: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3376790

You can edit the generic version to create your own attachments. Hope you find it useful!

    Hey!
I found your 3d Printed mounts. How does the mount hold on a Seat? I got a Sparco R300 seat and Im not sure if it would hold well using the seat mount.
Do you think it would fit right or does it need to have a thin upper section of the seat to clip onto? Because the top of my seat seems a bit thicker than the one in the picture on Thingiverse.

Hi!! You're right, the seat I used had a thin upper section, so you may need to modify a bit the piece for your seat. There's the STEP file in thingiverse too so that it's easy to edit with any 3d modelling software. If you tell me how thick is the upper part of your seat I could do it for you, but I can't promise I'll find time anytime soon!

No Worries! I ordered the generic mount. I'll mount it on a profile probably.

I got the general one printed up and received it 2 days ago. Im worried that when the rig jolts up/down a bit or if i repeatedly start heaving (like when you run over grass), the vive wand may fly out. Do you recommend using anything to hold it in the cradle/mount?

You should be able to fasten it enough so that it doesn't fly out. If the hole appears to be "too big" no matter how much you fasten (can happen depending on the 3D printer), I recommend you stick some hot glue lines on the inside of the pieces (and let them dry) for extra grip: IMG_20190926_192501_442.jpg
