    Thanks Hannibal,
The microphone of the smartphone is very sensitive and in the very small garage the sound is amplified .....
I hadn't noticed the birds in backgound ...:grin

    Hi guys, I'm back ...
I burned a power supply and on advice I bought 2 Simukit power supplies, hoping they are more robust.
I had to modify the case because the new power supplies were longer.

I also added 2 resistors to be inserted in the second sabertooth even though it is only in the motor, perhaps it was the cause of the breakdown of the power supply.
I had to make a support to raise the arduino board because there was no more space.
    48.jpg

Then I changed the power of the potentiometers, before 5V were taken from sabertooth, now they are taken by arduino.
    49.jpg

I also changed the position of the motors on sabertooth, now the otors 1 and 2 are on sabertooth 1 and the engine 3 on sabertooth 2.

    First test with simtootls.
In Arduino I uploaded the sketch that Wanegain kindly gave me.
Only the motor 2 works following the cursor movement in simtools test, the motor 1 and 3 continue to vibrate and do not follow the cursor movement.
Can you help me .... Thanks

I mounted the upper base for the second test.
    Everything seems OK.

Now I have to change the parameters to find an exact 120 ° working angle.

I have already downloaded the iRacing plug-in.

Do any of you already have a good set of simtools for iRacing?

    Thank you

    Hi guys,
    here is my finished project.:thumbs

After 5 months of research, readings, questions ..... finally my 3 DOF is working ....

There are still small adjustments to be made with sintools tuning center, but this is already giving me a lot of satisfaction.

I noticed that the structure with the applied forces moves a little, I already know where to put reinforcements to stiffen.

Also because everything is mounted on wheels.

I can finally go on a more relaxed vacation ...... hahaha:grin:grin:grin

    Hello guys,
I made some changes to make the structure more rigid.
As you can see in the previous video the structure moved too much.
I added three bars as shown in the photo, now it's perfect, rigid but not completely blocked so the mechanical parts are less stressed.
I put the seat belts, I feel the movements better ....
I added 3 fans placed in the pedal board that give a non-annoying flow that reaches the face, excellent with oculus on hot days.
    Goodbye see you soon

    Wow really nice work Fabio!
    2 question and 1 suggestion...
    -how long are the levers?
-what P value did you set in the sketch?
-try to fix the belt attachments in a fixed point of the structure. in this way, when braking you will feel it tighten (see my project)

    Hi Gigi,
    the levers are 10 cm
The P is the Wanegain standard ... 100
The belts are anchored to a fixed point, but with an elastic band.
    Hello

    Hi Milani Fabio,
where did you bought the motors and how much cost one of them? I plan a 4DOF platform and at the moment I want to use 24V 800W Motors with gear, but I think they are much overpowerd.

Hey Fabio, I really admire your project. Looking forward to doing the same. I already got the motors from Alibaba, The motor is 300W-24V-3000rpm with the final output speed of 50rpm. Do you think is that ok enough? My project is for flight simulator, do you think also that machine can carry the load of 200-250 kls.?

    Hi Menandro Dalida jr,
With these engines I have an excellent speed response and an oversized stroke length.
I use the car sim so I need a lot of movement speed.
I did try the sim to a person who weighs 80 kg and adding the weight of the upper base of 55 kg makes a total of 135 kg ..... the sim had no slowdown.
Considering that you use the sim to fly, it does not need a great speed of movement, I think that the engines can support even more weight.
But over 200 kg are so many ..... maybe it was better 400w engines, or a final change with 40 rpm .....
