There may be a few games that it does not work with.
Say the game sends a centering packet every time you pause, if so, then the centering would already this its centered and the chair moved quickly.
There are a few other scenarios where, depending on how the game handles the telemetry data, some parts may not work as expected.
But it works everywhere is can.

Maybe launch Live for Speed and see if you get it to go slow vs faster centering.
    Take care,

    Hello! Thank you for reply.

The seats centers starting gameengine and with the older version of simtools worked. I think the problem is some config that is wrong on the new version.

With output testing it works ok. And the game manager says game runing. The lateral movements work fine but it doesnt move on aceleration and braking.

I tried with the new aseto corsa and same...

I installed again simtools 1 and is working but the surge movements are very poor. I remember last time i had to change max and min on the game max min but i tried and i cant make it work as time ago..

And the point is to use the new simtools. 2.4.. because codecs are for new version.. so what is wrong on my configuration??

It was much easier on the other simtools and i cant understand axiss a axis b.. axis 2a ??? On simtools 1 theere are two axis and itss easy to config

Im really angry with this.. why there isnt any post with all you have to do with a scn5 2dof simulator to configure it? If i make this work i will explain all you have to do to configurate it so that there arent 50 post about 2dof that dont help.

I have spent again more than 130€ and lots of hours..

Dont you have wasap or something so we can look for the problem?

    Thanks

    Like SimTools v1.3?
If so, you have to completely remove version 1.3 before you install version 2.4.
The full manual is here buddy.
    https://www.xsimulator.net/community/threads/official-simtools-user-manual.12424/
In short thou, you only need to use the (a) set.
(We simply have 12 now to configure if needed, nothing to hard really.)

This sounds like it starts up just fine, and output testing works.
So we are down to the tuning center, did you tune the game in at all?
What do you Min/Max settings look like for the game?

    Take care,
    yobuddy

    Hello again. Thanks for replying.

The max and mins are -20 and +20. I tried modifing the max min values but if i put -100 and +100 is the same. If i put -20 and +80 it moves more but its too much tended all the time and you have the seat reclined forwards.

Last time i found somewere a max min config for project cars but i cant find it it again.

I tried to put surge at max on sim manager

try a Min/Max of-10 and +10, going higher will only make it weaker.

The LOWER the Max/Min the more the effect, over a shorter range.

    Thanks @yobuddy

Ah, I see now, it's on a per game basis then.

I was looking for the smooth return to center motion for when the system itself actually starts up (my levers tend to sag when the platform is powered off).

I'll play a few games later and check to see how it reacts when switching between titles & pausing/resuming.

Thanks for the info, and I'm really loving what you've done with ST v2.4!!!

I've tested it with DiRT Rally and yes indeed the platform slowly & gently returns to center after a pause or resume as you had described.

I was under the impression that it was also for the initial system startup, but as you have described it is game dependent.

Now that I've seen it in action I LOVE IT!!!!

    Great work @yobuddy!!!!

    spectacular 2.4 !!!
great to all the superrr team.
could I ask if there is a solution to avoid when a game starts, that the station goes off (so it goes down) and then immediately afterwards it goes up very fast ?.
I state that unfortunately I use powerful 12v motors with a 16: 1 ratio and I won't let myself go without power to keep them locked like the usual 50: 1.
Is there any parameter to manipulate to have a soft climb?
    thanks for any replies.
    take care of yourself.
ps: the new 2.4 soft stop works perfectly
    Marco
    Marco

Do you mean Game Engine fails to start, if so is there an error message, or do you mean Game Engine does not maximise from the system tray?

Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling SimTools, answering yes to remove all files when uninstalling?

Does not maximise, I do double click, the cursor changes to load and return to normal and nothing happens.
I tried uninstalling and reinstalling removing all files but it is not solved.

Sounds like it may be crashing on a custom plugin load?
you can go here and remove a custom plugin to see if it will then load correctly.
    "C:\Users\(Your User Folder)\AppData\Local\SimTools\GamePlugins"
Let me know how it goes ,
    Take care,
