Hello again. I have been using Sims Tools for quite some time now and up to about 2 weeks ago I have had no problems. I am using it with FSX (Flight Sim). The problem I have now is when I plug it into my computer (Arduino Board) the system fires up and it is always tiped to the left (Roll). The SMC3 Utility shows it to be centered but it is not. Is their a way to center this axis?? Thank You
    Terry.

If the motor is not centered although the SMC3 Utility indicates centered position, my first assumption would be that the potentiometer position needs to be adjusted. Can it be that it became loose and now has an offset?
    You can try the following:
    • Start SMC3 Utility
    • Turn on the non-centered motor
    • Disconnect the pot from the motor (e. g. by loosening a screw on the pot axis). Do this carefully, so that the pot does not turn unintentionally, which may cause damage on your rig.
    • Carefully turn the pot manually until the motor is centered.
    • Connect the pot to the motor again.
    Does this help?

I also thought the same thing and yes I did try adjusting the pot to center many, many times. Still have the same problem, however I did notice that when I was setting on the platform, it seemed to keep moving/tilting to the right. I am using 12vdc wench motor assy's along with 0- 360, continuous pot's. all worked well early. Thank you for you info

Problem solved. Found two loose wires on my Arduino board hook-up (see Pictures) these wires feed the pot's. Now when I apply power the motion platform goes to center as it should. Thanks again for the help and suggestions from all.
