    Hi,
I'm in last Simtools version. It's been a while since I used Return feature in my 2dof. Now I was trying to set up some profiles and realised not only looks different than before but also doesn't work anymore.

I'm using Joystick plugin and I wanted to assign "Return" values to one of the Joystick's axis the same way I used to. No matter what values I put in "washout" or "gain" my Sim moves when pulling the joystick but doesn't return to the center (unless I left the joystick to its center position).

Previous Simtools was working for me... anything I'm doing wrong or I lost compatibility?

    @El_Batallitas,
Try out the Traction Loss filter, as its basically the old washout filter.

The Traction Loss slider is the "Return" value.
Since we only use this filter for traction loss, simply tune the Traction Loss Min/Max value to set a nice input (Gain).

The Washout filter has changed to work for all inputs with a more traditional washout algorithm.
So I believe you will want to use the Traction Loss filter instead.

    Take care,

I tried but it doesn't matter which values I put in it, it stopped from going back to center position. I used that a lot in Joystick plugin, that's the only resource I had for games that didn't have plugin support and know I can't use it anymore :(

Also I'm trying to download old Simtools version and only 2.4 is available.

    All files are still available.

Just to be clear, you won't be able to use the washout filter as it now works like a traditional washout filter for all inputs.
The old washout filter has been moved to its own Traction Loss filter which works just like the old washout filter.
The only difference is we don't need the Gain value now, as we can simply adjust the Min/Max values for the traction loss input.

    Take care,

    Hello to all,
The setup for the traction control is putting me in great difficulty because I have not yet managed to have a realistic behavior in RF2.
I tried with the filters present in the new version of Simtools, but nothing; I'm not able.
The problem is that the playseat swings to the left in a long curve to the right even if there is no loss of grip.
Then, during an exit from the road, the frame swings to a spot already stopped in the game, as if the handling were delayed.

I tried to set different values on the filter while maintaining 100% traction loss; while I tried to correct the behavior with deadzone = 0.5 - 1 and boundary = 10 - 50. I probably didn't understand how to manage these settings or a wiper motor for traction loss is not very powerful.
May you some setup examples about this?
    Thanks
