Hi Jürgen ! I'm planning my 6DoF for X-plane, however I don't know how to calculate the real power for the motors that I need. I'm actually planning a heavy platform for 2 persons on top of the hexapod instead of 1 chair, so I have a couple of question if you don't mind. First is about your calculations here, are these correct (I'm not saying they're wrong, can't really tell), but what I mean is that if they're correct I can use them :). Or, if it's not much to ask, you can tell me how this calculations are made so I can make my own. The second question is about the motor itself, I saw them in AliExpress and I was thinking of using them, but I not sure if they will be enough to move the platform, so my question is if you have tested them very loaded and how well the results were. Hope you can help me and I already appreciate any time you can take to reply this. Thanks ! Great rig btw !

Thank you Jürgen !! Certanly there were some changes in your design !, but what most calls my attention is the gear reduction box, you changed from 60:1 to 25:1. One of the reasons that comes to my mind is to give them a lighter workload. Is that why you changed ??

Well, don't worry about it, just make sure to find and solve the problem with the wheel's force feedback and then the video. I can certainly wait.. Thanks for the update ! :cheers

So ... some good news. nothing expensive was damaged.
Just one Arduino leonardo and a USB Switch. 15€ :grin:cheers

The last few days i build my new PC for the SIM :grin

    Yesterday i tested the Sim...

Holly Shit... the motors are a lot to powerfull.
It feels like someone hits you with a car
I have to adjust everything to make it slower.
1/10 of the actual speed should be enough :grin

    New Problem.

Dirt Rallye 2 sends no data to simtools? can anybody help?
I installed the game with steam. Then i played 20 min.

then i downloaded the plugin from xsimulator.
    https://www.xsimulator.net/community/marketplace/dirt-rally-2-plugin.224/

    and add with the pluginupdater.

    Then i patched the game.

But i didnt get any data

Did you create a motion profile for DR2 and patch it for motion: https://www.xsimulator.net/community/faq/steps-to-create-a-motion-profile.228/

With Codemaster games the patch path is different for 32 and 64bit Windows
