    Hi,

Finally signed up after spending several weeks reading.

My plan is to make a DIY sim based on some designs i have seen and also add 2DOF seat mover.

My initial plan is to build a static sim ready for the Movement then look into more details regarding motors.

I will start a build thread when i am ready to start.

Hello everyone here in the community,

So glad i found you! I am halfway through a conversion from a Next Level Motion Platform v3 seat mover to a 80/40 rig with 4dof system using PT Actuators and Thanos' AMC-MDBOX.
Over the coming weeks i am hoping to near completion, the actuators arrived from China this week. I will keep you all posted on progress, pretty sure i will be in here a lot delving around for help.

Hi, my name is Ekain. I'm new in this community, but I have read several posts from this website. My intention is to build a 2 DOF motion simulator, with aluminum structure, wiper motors, Arduino...
I don't know what are the exact components I need to build it so, if someone could help me I would be very grateful.
    Thanks in advance.

My name is Neil Clayton, and I'm from New Zealand. I've been interested in a motion platform for some time, and my bro has had a SFX100 for about a year (ish) now. I've visiting him in CH right now :)

I've got a P1 rig with DD/VR. I'd go for SFX, but unfortunately the 10Khz whine does my head in after about 5m. So, currently reading, looking around. Wondering about a Pt-Actuator setup (unsure of controller just yet ... thanos' one?). Skilled with computers. Know enough electronics to build my own wireless BT wheel (but that's not saying much :). Can solder. Know enough to not blow myself up basically!

    Anyways.... Hi :)

    Hey Everyone,
New to the simulator forum. I'm making my own low-cost 6dof simulator because why would you not start with the most complicated project first? Am I right?

Greetings. Long-time sim users here. Just started an SFX-100 build, to replace my NLR v3 setup. Been with the OSW project since nearly the beginning. Looking forward to the 3DOF build; re-engaging here for all the help on that account. Thanks!

Haha great to see my own posting back, as most game that I use to fly did not have any VR mode I did skip them. Right now I’m playing mainly Assetto Corsa in VR using the 1937, 1955 indy and the Grandprix legends F1 mod.
My gear is the Thrustmaster T300 using the Ferrari 30cm wheel https://www.thrustmaster.com/en_US/products/t300-ferrari-integral-racing-wheel-alcantara-edition and the Samsung Odyssey+
I have build a left/right chair shaker using simhub, https://github.com/zegreatclan/SimHub/wiki very easy to use software. Next project will be the windgenerator.
