    Hi All

This is my DIY Racing rig that I built myself I'm Based in South Africa so There are not a lot of affordable commercial Rigs available, so i decided to build my own one.

I have looked into making it a motion sim but unfortunately the cost of doing that in SA is crazy as everything has to be imported.

My next step is to add a Bass Shaker to improve the immersion but once again they are not available in SA, so I've Decided to try the DIY Option Please see Images below.

Tell me what you guys think.

    Regards Cartman

    Thanks for sharing your rig.

Transducers are a great addition and Game Vibe is available for the Pro version of SimTools, allowing you to 'tune' transducers for all sorts of effects.

    Project update

Control box completed Rig 80% complete list of things left to do, Build motor mounts, mount the pots to the motors and spray.
And then on to the final step of the build testing all the electronics and configuring the software and Motion profile.

I will post further pictures once the rig is completed.

Just an Update. My rig is now fully assembled and all electronics are done moving into the testing phase.

Sim tools setup and configured did some basic PID tuning on SMC3Utility, I did some tests with Project cars 2.

Motion is working perfectly next step is to tweak the motion profile and axis limits. once that is complete i have to do some stress testing going to do an 6 hour endurance race to see if everything holds up.
