What would be needed for a 2 or 3 DOF

    I am just in the thought process right now, but looking at what options may be available.

    I have built a Cessna style cockpit based on X-Plane 11. Right now I have a homemade G-Seat in it, which is fine, but I was considering a 2 or 3 DOF platform to move the whole thing. It is a fairly light build, made mostly of 2x2 wood, and cardboard, with fake leather on the inside. The heaviest part of it is the main 58" monitor and two 32" monitors. All up, it probably weighs a little over 150lb..

    I would like to put a floor on it, and be able to pitch and roll the whole thing. I would swap out the G-Seat for a lightweight chair. The platform would need to move the cockpit, and up to 2 people. So say 600lb.

    I don't want to spend a ton of money on it. I can cut and weld steel, so that is not a problem. Looking to spend under $2k if possible.

    Here is a video of the cockpit, to give an idea of the size and such.

    Any ideas of what I would need to push this around at this weight, on a budget would be appreciated.
