    If you go with 24V then use a suitable controller, like the Sabertooth.

    I have now ordered two used wheelchair motors in the Netherlands for 70 euros.
    It is clear to me now that I have to look for a Sabertooth and a new PSU.
    But can you tell me where I can the 24V psu?

    Good morning, @Brie69,

    now that you have everything you need, I guess this will become a busy building weekend. :thumbs

    The SMC3 setup instructions you mentioned in your last post is great. Just follow the steps carefully.

    And note that with wheelchair motors you will probably need a smaller Kp value than recommended in this thread.
    You will recognize it when you get jerky motor movements. I had this problem, and another member had it as well, see here: https://www.xsimulator.net/community/threads/first-build-no-joy.12644/#post-165779
    See also @BlazinH‘s explanation below this post.

    Oh, one more thing: Don‘t forget to connect the voltage clamp resistors. You should have 2 of them in your Sabertooth package. You can find the wiring further below in the SMC3 tutorial.

    Right now I noticed that you mentioned Sabertooth 2x35. I hope you actually meant 2x32 (and not something else like 2x25, which does also exist and currently causes lots of trouble for another forum member, because it is not supported by SMC3.)

    Thanks for this positive feedback @MarkusB . At first I started with the batteries that were with the wheelchair when I bought it. Yes, indeed I had bought a whole wheelchair for 75 euros.
    This weekend I will first determine the balance point of the top of the simulator and make a working drawing so that the base, the bottom of the simulator, is well thought out first. I myself had devised to use the heavy weight of the battery pack to keep the base small.
    But first some drawing and calculation, not to mention SimCal.

    In case you are still looking for a 24V power supply, I used 2 x 12 V server power supplies to power my wheelchair motors. There are several used ones available on Ebay and they have sufficient capacity to power wheel chair motors under load. Just make sure to float one of the supplies if you connect them in series.

    I'm almost finish my 2dof simulator, with the same connection points like in this project. But pls give me only one advice. Without electric source when motors not run it is no possible use seat (for example playing in no motions games) because motors turning and the seat moving with no any control. It is any way to block motors? How this work in normal use? You are using yours sjmulator only for racing? Pls give me some advices because if there no any way to block seat tomorow I will be mounting same kind of bar for securing seat when no playing in no motion games.
